(Henderson, MN) MnDOT has reopened Highway 19 between Henderson and Highway 169 where recent flooding has affected the road.
That stretch of Highway 19 had been closed since June 23rd, due to the Minnesota River flooding.
MnDOT crews were able to correct erosion damages caused by the floods once water levels dropped to two feet below the road’s shoulder.
Officials say a 7–ton axle weight restriction has been placed on the portion of Highway 19 to minimize potential damage to the road bed.
The restriction is expected to remain in place for one or two weeks.
