A crash that was blocking the intersection of Highway 7 and School Road in Hutchinson just after 3 Friday afternoon was finally cleared for traffic at about 5:30pm.

However, MnDot is still advising caution, in that traffic signals were disabled following the crash.

Four-way flashing signals will be in place for the weekend.

The State Patrol says a semi tractor-trailer driven by 26-year-old Robert Symanitz of Cologne was traveling westbound on Highway 7 when he went off the road and hit the signal light.

The Patrol says Symanitz was taken to Hutchinson Health for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
