(Learfield News Service/St. Paul, MN) — The state Department of Agriculture is warning consumers about apple cider produced and distributed by Sunnyside Orchards of Pennock.
Officials say the cider was inadequately processed and stored at improper temperatures which could allow harmful bacteria to grow.
All Sunnyside Orchards cider produced since August 31st and sold in gallon and half-gallon containers are affected.
There have been no reports of illness from the products.
The cider was distributed to at least seven locations in Willmar and one in Dassel. Anyone with affected Sunnyside Orchard cider should throw it out.
