UPDATE: No Travel Advisory Lifted for SW MN

WILLMAR, Minn. – (8:45 a.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has removed all no travel advisories for state highways in southwest Minnesota, including all or portions of Lac qui Parle, Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Yellow Medicine, Renville, Lincoln, Lyon, Murray, Redwood, Pipestone and Meeker counties.

MnDOT advises motorists that while visibility is good, road conditions remain ice and snow covered in some areas.

The public can view winter road conditions from plow cameras available through the www.511mn.org website. Please note that not all plows have cameras. Road conditions on major highways can also be viewed through the Road Weather Information System (RWIS), which is also part of 511.
