MANKATO, Minn. – All state highways in MnDOT District 7’s 13 counties of south central Minnesota are now open to motorists including Interstate 90 from South Dakota to Alden, according to officials at the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists are advised that while the roads are open to traffic, road conditions may range from good to poor with numerous slippery spots. The public can check road conditions at www.511mn.org .
Motorists can expect to see snowplows and other equipment throughout the remainder of the week in clean-up operations pushing and blowing snow drifts back to make room for additional snowfall.
MnDOT reminds motorists to stay clear of these operations and give the crews room to work for everyone’s safety. MnDOT snowplow drivers have experienced numerous snowplow hits this winter.
