(Learfield News Service) As people pore over the Muller report, U-S Senator Amy Klobuchar is among the Democrats calling for Robert Mueller to testify before Congress.
She says Attorney General Bill Barr’s interpretation of the report is not enough.
Klobuchar says why would we simply as a country be able to ask questions of an attorney general that just got into office–who had nothing to do with this investigation–I want to be able to ask Mr. Mueller, who is a former Republican-appointed FBI director, about what happened with this investigation.
Klobuchar says the public needs to see Mueller answer questions about the differences between his and attorney general Barr’s interpretations of the report.
Barr says the report shows no collusion and no obstruction on the part of the president.
