(Chaska Herald/Chaska, MN) Authorities have determined that a high-speed turn resulted in the drowning deaths of two Shakopee women last fall.
That’s according to a Chaska Police Department press release.
Zeynab Osman Abdalla and Bushra Mohamed Abdi, both 19, were found with their car in a Chaska water treatment pond on the evening of Sunday, Oct. 14. They had been missing since the early hours the previous day, sparking a regional search for the two young women.
Authorities say the case is now inactive.
