The boil water advisory for Silver Lake has been lifted.
City officials say all normal water usage may be resumed.
City officials said the city had a power outage earlier this week that caused the well pumps to shut down until they started the generator. When the pumps shut down, there was a loss of water pressure, which could have caused contaminates to enter the water supply.
Results from water tests came in Thursday, showing the water is safe.
However, officials recommend residents flush their plumbing systems.
