Tuesday afternoon’s storm downed trees over power lines and snapped off power poles in areas served by McLeod Co-op Power including areas of rural Hutchinson, Buffalo Lake, Winthrop, Arlington, and other communities in between.
Following the storm McLeod Co-op Power had approximately 800 members without power.
Crews worked through the night to restore power.
Officials say all accounts, as of this morning (Wednesday), should have power restored, although some have temporary power until more permanent repairs can be made.
If any McLeod Co-op Power customers are still without power today, they’re asked to contact the Co-op as soon as possible.
