(Learfield News Service/St. Louis Park, MN) — The St. Louis Park City Council will be reconsidering its decision to drop recital of the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag at its meetings.
The council received pushback about the June 17th decision that was intended to accommodate the city’s more diverse population.
The measure was set to take effect July 15th.
The pledge is said at council meetings at most metro and outstate cities, with the exception of Minneapolis and Edina.
