Tornado Touchdowns Reported in Arlington, Henderson

(Learfield News Service/Chanhassen, MN) — The National Weather Service is reporting two tornado touchdowns Friday evening in south-central Minnesota.

The first tornado was on the ground for about 30 seconds near Arlington and the second one briefly touched down north of Henderson less than ten minutes later.

A roof was torn off a business in Arlington, there were power lines and trees down, and reports of ping pong ball-sized hail.

Heavy rains caused flooding in Sibley and Renville counties.
