A New Ulm motorist who struck a pedestrian last September has been charged with a misdemeanor charge of failure to yield to a pedestrian.

On September 26th, 70-year-old Roger Saxton was fatally struck by a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Blake Jarve while he was crossing Broadway at 12th South.

Jarve told law enforcement that he didn’t see Saxton.

This was one of three pedestrian accidents that occurred in just 45 days in New Ulm last fall.
