A 64-year-old man is dead after a grain bin accident in McLeod County Friday morning.
The victims name is being withheld, pending notification of relatives.
The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office says at just before 11:30, they received a 911 call that a man was trapped in a corn bin at an address on 140th Street in Rich Valley Township.
The Sheriff’s Office say after about 30 minutes, responders located the victim and removed him from the bin.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Also responding to the scene was the MN State Patrol, Glencoe Fire Department, Plato Fire Department, Allina Ambulance and Life Link Air Care.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene and is also investigating.
