Two people were arrested on Wednesday after the CEE-VI Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in Danube and discovered narcotics, firearms, and an explosive device.
The Bloomington Bomb Squad was called to perform a controlled detonation. The device was detonated safely on site.
Agents also located and seized approximately 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, close to a half ounce of suspected mushrooms, 16 long guns, and 4 handguns from the residence. There was also a 3-year-old boy present at the residence who was removed from the home by Renville County Family Services.
A 41-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman who lived there were arrested.
The investigation continues.
