(Learfield News Service/Chaska, MN) — A federal lawsuit is accusing officials in Eastern Carver County Schools of turning a blind eye to racist bullying in the district.
Current and former students say they’ve endured physical assaults, death threats, and racial slurs while attending school.
The plaintiffs say teachers and administrators knew about the abuse but did nothing about it.
The lawsuit asks for a jury trial to determine damages for civil rights violation.
It was filed on behalf of six current and former students.
