Two counterfeit bills turned up in Hutchinson recently, one a $100 bill, the other a $10 bill.
On Monday, September 9th, an employee of Pizza Hut reported a delivery driver was given the bogus $100 bill from a man that ordered a pizza.
After investigating, police believe a 25-year-old Hutchinson man made the order using the counterfeit bill.
Police are requesting a misdemeanor charge of counterfeit currency possession against the suspect.
This past Sunday evening (Sept 15), an employee of Century 9 Theatres reported they were given the bogus $10 bill.
The employee believes the bill was used between 12:30 and 1:30pm, but did not know what customer used the bill.
That bill was sent to the Secret Service for further investigation.
