(Learfield News Service/Washington, D.C.) “Finally a step in the right direction,” says Minnesota Congressman and U-S House Ag Committee Chairman Collin Peterson about China lifting its ban on imports of U.S.-produced poultry products.

Peterson says there are over 12-hundred poultry operations in the 7th Congressional District he represents.

He says he hopes the Trump administration can also make progress on “other trade access issues within the Chinese market, end these damaging tariffs, and help our farmers expand and develop new export markets.”
