(Learfield News Service/St. Paul, MN) — State health officials are confirming the third flu-related death of the season in Minnesota.
The geographic spread of influenza activity has moved from “local” to “regional” in the last week.
The Minnesota Health Department reports 41 hospitalizations in the week ending November 30th.
There were only seven flu outbreaks in schools as most students were on the Thanksgiving break.
No pediatric flu deaths have been reported this flu season.
