A Hopkins woman received minor injuries after she went off the road and into a field Sunday evening.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Caitlin Gunter was treated at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office says at just after 5:30pm, they received a report of a personal injury accident at the intersection of County State Aid Highway 21 and County State Aid Highway 14 in Darwin Township.
Deputies learned a vehicle driven Gunter failed to stop for the stop sign at the T-intersection and the vehicle ended up out in a field west of the intersection.
Authorities say Gunter was on her phone in a video call during the accident.
