(KWLM/Buffalo, MN) A Montrose man was arraigned on a murder charge in Wright County District Court in Buffalo Monday.
36-year-old Alejandro Vega is charged with 2nd Degree Murder With Intent-Not Premeditated, in connection with the death of 34-year-old Justin Warnke of Buffalo whose body was found east of Kingston, in Meeker County, December 29th. Unconditional bail was set by Judge Geoffrey Tenny at 2 million dollars.
Vega’s next court appearance is set for January 21st.
According to Facebook, Vega worked for a company called Guardian Fugitive Recovery of Big Lake, and had worked there for about two years. The company is a bail bond enforcement, security and private investigation company.
Vega and his alleged victim, Warnke, were Facebook friends.
Court records say Warnke had recently been released from prison after serving a sentence for Violating a No Contact Order Within 10 years of a previous conviction. Warnke’s body was found on the side of 309th Street in Meeker County’s Kingston Township December 29th.
A cause and manner of death have not yet been released by Wright County Authorities or the coroner’s office.
