First Ev. Lutheran School is hosting a free event on Wed, Jan 22nd, at 7 pm at the Glencoe City Center.  The UniShow is an inspiring action-packed extreme stunt unicycle show performed by World Champion unicyclist Dustin Kelm and the UniShow Universe Team.   Adults and children are invited to attend.  


GSL ECFE has their Pizza and Play open house on Thursday, Jan 23rd at their Early Childhood Learning Facility. You can come at Two times…10:30-11:30a or 6-7p. Shoot some hoops, bowl a strike, bounce in the house, and more activities for the kids ages 6 and under. Friday, Jan 24th the Hutchinson Chamber CVB will hold their annual Event and Community Awards at the Crow River Winery starting at 5:30 pm. The Theme for the night is Hutch-Opoly (like Monopoly). For tickets contact the Hutch Chamber office.


The Watertown Area Fine Arts Council is holding their annual Crow River Radio Hour. This fun, family-friendly show is a comedic look at small towns and also features the talents of local musicians. The show will be held on Sunday, January 26th at 4:00 pm, at the Watertown Primary School Auditorium,Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children under 18 and can be purchased at the door.


St John’s Lutheran School of NYA has their All you can eat Chili Feed on Sunday, Jan 26th from 10:30a-1:30p. Adults are $7 in advance, Kids are $5. At the door prices are $10/adults, and $7/Kids.


The Blizzard Blast Charity Event is Friday, Jan 31st at the Glencoe City Center starting at 5 pm. Enjoy Dinner by Chef Craig, live and Silent Auctions, raffles and music while benefitting hospice. Spaghetti Supper at the Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church will be on Friday, Jan 31st from 5-7 pm. Serving a Pasta Bar with choice of sauce, Salad, Breadstick and more! Donations go to the Church.

It’s the SLEEPY EYE SPORTSMAN’S CLUB 38th ANNUAL FISHING Derby to be held SUNDAY FEBRUARY 2nd FROM 12-3 PM on Sleepy Eye Lake. registration begins at 9:30 am. 4 cash prizes will be awarded in 2 categories, Entry fee is $5.00 per person for the contest. the 10 Annual Type 1 Diabetes fundraiser will be held Saturday, Feb. 29th  at the Blue Note Ballroom, Winsted from 10 am to 3pm. The event will have many activities, such as crafters, kids carnival, silent auction, health booth ( taking free blood pressure and blood sugar checks), photo booth, live music, Chris Egert -from Channel 5 news as Guest speaker, and more.
