Diamond Ring Stolen from Hutchinson Jewelry Store

Hutchinson Police are investigating the reported theft of a diamond ring from a main street jewelry store.

On Saturday afternoon, the owner of Kock’s Jewelry told police that he believed that a male and female replaced, or swapped one of their diamond rings with a cubic zirconia ring when the female was trying on rings in the store.

The stolen ring is valued at $2,950.

Police say the bogus ring was discovered when it was being cleaned, about 15 minutes after the couple left the store.
