St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart has cancelled all church services and activities through Easter.

St. John’s Lutheran Church Cedar Mills Mary Martha Guild meeting is cancelled for April and the quarterly voters meeting is postponed until further notice.

The Crow River Mutual Insurance annual meeting that was to be held on Tuesday April 7th at the Peace Center in Hutchinson has been cancelled. No new date will be scheduled.

Crow River Habitat for Humanity Hammer & Nails Dinner Scheduled for April 24 is being moved to October 23rd.

Rush River Maples of Gibbon has cancelled there pancake breakfast scheduled for April 4th

McLeod County has set up a phone line for citizens to access important daily recordings with information about COVID-19.  The line will have a recorded message from Public Health employees, updated daily and/or as necessary, with important information about COVID-19. Governor Tim Walz and Education Commissioner Mary Cathryn Ricker have announced that all Minnesota schools serving students prekindergarten through grade 12 will be closed through May 4th. All districts and charter schools will be expected to use distance learning model, on Monday, March 30.

The Pla-Mor Ballroom in Glencoe has suspended events at the ballroom until further notice.

Bluebird Day at Gopher Campfire Club scheduled for Saturday, April 4, has been postponed.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation has announced that the agency will indefinitely postpone all public meetings and project open houses statewide.

Hector United Methodist Church has canceled its Soup & Salad Luncheon for April 1st.

Bingo at Hutch VFW 906 is canceled for the remainder of the week.

Hamburg Lions Bingo on April 3rd has been canceled.

Hutchinson Utilities Commission Main Office Lobby will be closed until further notice. Payments can continue to be made via telephone, online, or dropped off at one of HUC’s payment boxes located at the Main Office, 225 Michigan Street SE and Hutchinson City Center, 111 Hassan Street SE.

Until further notice, Hutchinson Utilities Commission will not disconnect customers or charge late fees. As families and the community face the challenges of COVID-19, we want to ensure our customers continue to receive Electric & Natural Gas services to keep their families safe.  If customers have difficulty paying their bills, we are here to help. Emanuel Lutheran Church, Hamburg, MN has suspended all worship services, activities, and meetings until further notice.

All Pioneerland Library System locations (including Hutchinson and Glencoe) are closed until further notice due to the governor’s stay at home order.  All April and May library programs and events for the Hutchinson Library will be canceled or indefinitely postponed. Please watch for more details!  For best health practices, our the Hutchinson Library Meeting Room will also not be available.  If you wish to reschedule or would like us to post an online notice for your group/members, please email Katy @ katy.hiltner@pioneerland.lib.mn.us.  They will keep you informed of any additional changes in our operations as this situation continues.  Please do not return items to the libraries at this time.  Due dates for all materials have been extended.  You will not incur any fines.   Pioneerland Library System is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation as it unfolds.

Cedar Crest Estate, Silver Lake – Restricting visitors to only those that are medically necessary. No outside visitors permitted, including family, volunteers, and community members.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic the Tim Orth Memorial Foundation is CANCELLING their GLENCOE EVENT.  The event was scheduled for Saturday, March 28. All public Masses in the Diocese of New Ulm have been suspended from March 18 until further notice. All Catholics in the diocese are dispensed from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass during this time. Up-to-date information pertaining to the coronavirus, including diocesan announcements, prayers, links to online and television Masses, and other resources, can be found on the Diocese of New Ulm website, www.dnu.org/covid19.

MDHA Crow River Chapter will be postponing their April 4 Banquet.
