(Winsted MN-) The annual Winstock country music festival held in Winsted every summer will not be held this year due to Covid-19.
It had been slated for June 12th and 13th, but in a news release from festival officials, they have postponed it to June 18th and 19th of next year.
The festival is a fundraiser for Winsted-Holy Trinity Catholic Schools.
Officials say all tickets and camping orders will be valid for next year’s event.
Festival Committee Chair Dave Danielson says “With the Covid-19 pandemic, there’s just too many unknowns with what the world will look like by June and as much as it hurts us to postpone Winstock, we think it is the right thing to do.”
