ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota health officials report 14 new deaths from COVID-19 on Sunday, raising the state’s death toll to 1,040.
The number of positive tests for the coronavius grew by 664, raising the state total to 24,850. The number of health care workers who have been infected rose to 2,690.
The latest state figures show 257 patients in Minnesota intensive care units Sunday with another 298 in regular hospital beds.
Under an executive order signed last week by Gov. Tim Walz, restaurants and bars can start offering outdoor dining and salons and barber shops can reopen starting Monday.
