(Learfield News Service/St. Paul, MN) Extra law enforcement is on Minnesota state roads looking for distracted drivers.
Mike Hanson with the Department of Public Safety says–put the distractions away…especially going through the work and construction zones and be alert for those traffic backups, because they will occur and you need to be able to react to those very quickly.
The two-week distracted driving enforcement push runs through June 14th.
In 2019, distracted driving contributed to more than 3,200 injuries and 32 deaths in Minnesota.
