(KWLM/Redwood Falls MN-) The Redwood County Fair joins the growing number of counties that have decided to cancel this year’s event.
Kandiyohi and Renville Counties have already pulled the plug.
The Redwood County Fair board said in a news release…”The Redwood County Fair Board has been working hard trying to figure out this 2020 season. Our goal to be a gathering place for all of Redwood County and the surrounding counties is looking very dim. We have hit stumbling blocks since March. With restrictions in place and not knowing what the future will bring, we have had to think long and hard about our decision.
The fair has only been cancelled twice in its history. Once for the pandemic outbreak in 1918 and once for WWII and Polio combined.
