Twins Radio Crew will stay home on the road

When the Twins go on the road this year…the radio crew will stay home. The Twins announced that both Cory Provus and Dan Gladden will NOT travel with the team this year. Instead for road games they will call the action while looking at a monitor from the Twin Cities. It’s believed to be an attempt by the team to keep the traveling party as small as possible due to COVID 19 restrictions.

One other bit of team news, it’s reported that Bullpen coach Bob McCloure and Coach Bill Evers will not be allowed to work games. Both coaches are in their 60’s age wise and could be in the high risk category for contracting COVID 19.
