MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota reported 569 new cases of the coronavirus on Tuesday, along with three deaths.
The cases were identified from 5,936 tests, a positive rate of almost 10 percent.
The Department of Health said two of the deaths came in people in their 50s, with the third a person in their 70s.
Minnesota has had 1,477 deaths from COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, but the daily number of deaths has been mostly in single digits since late June.
The number of people hospitalized as of Tuesday stood at 267, with 121 people in intensive care.
