The Hutchinson School Board last night (Tuesday) approved a resolution for a base learning model for the upcoming school year, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On a 4 to 2 vote, the board approved resuming in-person classes, based on guidance from the Governor and state health officials.

Board members JoEllen Kimball and Tiffany Barnard voted against the proposal. They felt the better, safer, approach would be the hybrid model, which involves a mix of in-person and online classes.
