Hutchinson Man Arrested/Charged After Incident at Taco John’s


A Hutchinson man was arrested and ultimately charged after an incident at Taco John’s on Highway 7 West Monday evening.

At 7:42pm, officers were dispatched to the parking lot of Taco John’s for the report of a male working on a vehicle for which he did not have permission to work on, and throwing trash around.

Upon arrival, the officers observed the male, later identified as 34-year-old Jacob Robert Clarin, painting the vehicle green with a paint brush on the rear bumper and quarter panel.

Clarin was advised by officers he was under arrest and they attempted to put him in handcuffs. Clarin resisted arrest, but was eventually taken into custody and transported to the McLeod County Jail.

Clarin has been charged with Misdemeanor Obstruction of Legal Process, Misdemeanor 4 th Degree Damage to Property and Misdemeanor Tampering with a Motor Vehicle.
