A 25-year-old Litchfield man was arrested after a pursuit in Meeker County Thursday.
At just before 1:30pm, a Meeker County Deputy observed a motorcycle matching the description of one that was reportedly involved in a pursuit earlier in Wright County.
The Deputy attempted to stop the motorcycle on Highway 12 in Dassel but the driver fled and in the 900 block of Parker Ave West, got off the motorcycle and fled on foot.
The Deputy pursued the suspect on foot for about ¼ mile before taking the driver in to custody.
Authorities say the suspect threw a hand gun while being pursued, which was recovered by the deputy.
The motorcycle was found to be stolen out of Minneapolis.
The suspect was also in possession of controlled prescription pills not prescribed to him.
The supect was booked in to the Meeker County jail for fleeing, felon in possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving pending a first appearance in Meeker County District Court.
