Minnesota restaurants will stay closed for in-person dining through the holiday season, however, there will be a new strategy for elementary schools.
KSTP reports that according to Gov. Tim Walz’s spokesperson, the governor will lay out a strategy today (Wednesday) that will prioritize in-person learning for elementary schools but will keep indoor dining at bars and restaurants closed through the holiday season.
The plan will be put forward to ensure that health care capacity is protected and to bridge the gap between now and vaccinations.
The governor will announce the full details for other businesses and social settings this afternoon.
